What are the best lights for growing plants indoors?
I need the lights to start sowing and cultivating orchids indoors. Fluorescent I tried, but I can not get the culture tubes in 8 'lengths. Metal halide is the best option? So is there any danger of metal halide bulbs explode after they become old? What Is metal halide high pressure are much better than the regular metal halide?
If you are looking to develop houseplants regularly at home, then no need to "grow" bulbs, try to find the hot and cold fluorescent lights and the alternate to the ballasts. This also applies to the vegetative state of "special" of plants. But you want something more powerful for the flowering period, if you are interested in dense resin flowers. Normally metal halide (blue) is used for vegetables the state, but a lot of fluorescent bulbs work very well (keep the bulbs VERY close to the central, almost touching). The SPH is what you hear on the other (of high pressure sodium) is a red light and simulates what the sun never sets in late summer, early fall. You're seeing a huge increase in your electricity bill by using high-lighting any discharge of horticulture. Not to mention the cost is high to begin with and are very hot. Send by mail if you want more information, but do not want anyone else to read. PS There is a new article on AOL about a guy who sent photos of weapons facilities and on their MySpace, which somehow has tracked and Busted. I want you to know that I'm not anything illegal, and I salute all officers in a cup of tea. I do not think a collection of samurai swords is illegal.
